After graduation from the Photographic Arts programme Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1954 I worked as a professional photographer at R.M.C. (Kingston) for 13 years. I also engaged independently in wedding and portrait photography and graphic reproduction during that time. I then joined the Image Arts program at Ryerson University as a professor and taught in many areas for 26 years retiring in 1994. Colour imaging was a major field of my instruction. I was active in the educator sections of Photographic Society of America and the Society of Photographic Science and Engineering till my retirement. I have always been interested in landscape, commercial, scientific and travel photography but find I must adjust my interests as age limits my mobility. As a member of the Barrie Camera Club I am looking forward to new challenges such as macro photography and other group activities provided by the club. I am submitting work that I found interesting for wall display primarily from my travels in France and Italy.
